STREET FOODS
India is a vast land and it is famous for many things culture, heritage, tourist spots and of course - food! From north to south and from west to east India has a variety of food. Any place you go it is a must to eat that area's food.
Well, today I'm going to talk about one of our favourite foods - ' Street Foods'!
Every street food is unique in its own flavour. Some of the street foods are sweet as nectar while some are really spicy and can set your mouth on fire in no time. Here, I'm going to share a few of my favourite street foods:
1. Pani Puri
Pani puri is a delicious delicacy which contains a round and hollow puri filled with a mixture of potato( along with a few spices),sweet and spicy chutney and tangy tamarind water. It is famous throughout India though the taste varies from city to city.
2. Bhel Puri
Bhel puri is a savoury snack originating form the Indian
subcontinent and is also a type of chaat. It is made up of puffed rice, vegetables and a tangy tamarind sauce and it is sometimes eaten with a flat, round puri.
3. Vada Pavs
Vada pav is a vegetarian fast food dish native to the state of Maharashtra. The dish consists of a deep fried potato dumpling placed inside a bread bun sliced almost in half through the middle. It is also served with chutneys and a few chillies.
4. Samosas
Description
A samosa is a fried or baked snack with a savoury filling, such as spiced potatoes, onions, peas or lentils. It may take different forms, including triangular, cone, or half-moon shapes, depending on the region.5. Pav Bhaji
Pav bhaji is a fast food dish from India, consisting of a thick vegetable curry (having a mixture of mashed potatoes, onions, tomatoes and other vegetables) served with a soft bread roll. Its origins are in the state of Maharashtra.
